This table was made using mortice and tenon joints with wedges, I wanted to emphasize the natural shape of the wood and mix in more overt wood working elements. The table top side were made from a board that i crack in half, this give an almost live edge look that would be difficult to artificially create

This Table was made to fit into a specific kitchen location, the top was fitted to a (Berkey Water Filter). Recently I’ve become a huge fan of rims around the table top. I believe it add a bit of function and flare.

Also included in this build is LED lights. These are remote controlled. and can either be plugged into and outlet or battery power. lights are hidden in grooves so they are hidden when not in use.
